Cannes is a world-famous destination for its film festival. But that’s not the only attraction of this Mediterranean city. Once there, you can discover the superb Suquet district, with its medieval monuments, or the Lérins Islands. You can take advantage of the time you have in Cannes to visit the 11th-century château, which houses the Musée de la Castre, or the church of Notre-Dame de l’Espérance, with its harmonious blend of 16th- and 17th-century styles.
When you’re in Cannes, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do and discover locally. The boulevard de la Croisette, which over the years has become a must for anyone exploring the city of Cannes, is also well worth a visit. With its superb beaches and the Palais des Festivals, the area is a real magnet.
The Forville market is also worth exploring. Here you can buy tasty local produce.
The old port, the Villa Rothschild and the Croix des Gardes, a superb planted area on a hill, are also well worth a visit. Not forgetting, of course, the islands of Lérins, opposite the old port. With its historic heritage, the island of Sainte-Marguerite is a real favourite. The same goes for the island of Saint-Honorat, with its magnificent monks’ abbey and sumptuous natural surroundings.
Renting a luxury property in Cannes will enable you to discover these wonders easily.
