Depending upon your use of our site, and what property related services you require from us, we collect varying amounts of personal data. For every client we engage with we will collect at a minimum their name and an email address and/or telephone number (and potentially their address including the postcode) to contact them for the purposes of carrying out the requested service. For example, if you are looking to let your property, we will need to contact you to arrange viewings for prospective tenants.
We have a legal obligation under The Money Laundering Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 to conduct varying levels of due diligence on our clients. This involves us getting personal data and documents containing personal data from our clients to properly verify their identity. If our client is a company, we will be required to complete due diligence on the ultimate beneficial owner and any third parties who purport to act on behalf of the client.
