About Antibes and our luxury holiday rentals

Choosing a holiday rental in Théoule-sur-mer or the surrounding villages

We’re confident that you’ll love our selection of beachfront properties for rent in Cap d’Antibes with their beautiful gardens and stunning views of the Mediterranean.

One of our favourites is this state of the art villa with 4 bedrooms on the west side of the Cap. The entire first floor is reserved for the 100m² Master bedroom suite and there are 3 spacious guest bedrooms on the floor below. With a heated infinity pool, fountain and air-jet spa in the garden plus a pool house and outdoor lounge area, you’ll be ready to unwind from the moment you arrive.

If you’d like to relive the golden age of the Riviera, this classic 1920’s property set in a large garden is the perfect choice. It can easily accommodate up to 12 guests and is a great option for families as it has a swimming pool, table tennis and its very own children’s playground. Relax on the terrace and watch the kids playing happily whilst you sit back and enjoy the sea view.

A brief overview of Antibes

The Cap d’Antibes is an absolutely gorgeous little peninsula perfectly placed between Antibes and Juan les Pins on the French Riviera. Just far enough out to be peaceful and quiet during the busy summer months, it’s close enough to both towns for a day on the beach or a fun evening out. Our villas in Cap d’Antibes have the best views along the coast to the hills behind Antibes. Looking out over the bay you can easily see why so many artists and writers have fallen in love with this part of the world.

Antibes itself couldn’t be prettier. There is a lovely little old town which still has the atmosphere of a small Provencal village. The narrow cobblestone streets are centred around a traditional covered market which sells tasty Corsican charcuterie, locally-grown olives and artisanal cheeses amongst other delights. The ramparts around the old town lead you to Chateau Grimaldi, the first Picasso museum in France which has a good selection of his locally-drawn paintings and sculptures on permanent display.

When is best to visit Cap d'Antibes

It’s always a good time to visit Cap d’Antibes. The area is known for being sunny and warm all year round so come for a summer holiday or for a winter getaway. Summer tends to be the busiest period and June or July are a good time to visit for music lovers as the Jazz Festival and the Nuits Carrées host some amazing live artists every year.

There are lots of fun sporting and cultural events to keep you entertained and the nightlife is always buzzing. There are so many restaurants, bars and clubs to choose from in Antibes that you’ll be able to find a favourite for every night of the week.

If you do decide to visit later in the season, the chances are you’ll still be able to soak up the sunshine as winter never lasts for long here on the Riviera. Plus Antibes is only a short car or helicopter ride away from some great little family ski resorts in the Southern Alps, so definitely worth considering as a base if you’d like to spend a few days skiing or snowboarding in the mountains.

Things to see and do in Antibes

Antibes is just the right size for a vacation. It has a nice small town vibe with lots of events going on throughout the year. You’ll never be stuck for something to do: visit a festival or a market, check out an art gallery or try a hip new beach bar for drinks with friends. Here are a few of our favourite things to see and do in Antibes.

Take part in a traditional festival

As you’re in France, why not take part in a traditional French festival with members of the Safranier commune. The commune loves any excuse to party and they hold a legendary ball on the 14th July to commemorate the Fete Nationale. They organise street parties and festivals throughout the year and visitors are strongly encouraged to stop by and join them for a drink, a meal or a quick dance with one of the members. To find the commune, just head to the Place du Safranier and keep an eye out for the yellow street signs or an ear out for the live music at the Taverne du Safranier.

Step off the beaten track

Antibes has a well-known Cathedral in the old town which is listed as a national monument. But tucked away on a nearby side street is the Chapelle Saint Bernadin, a lovely 16th century chapel which is still relatively unknown to visitors. The little chapel has a stunning blue and gold starry ceiling and many trompe l’oeil paintings and frescos which have all been lovingly-restored. It’s well worth taking the short detour through the Place Nacionale and paying it a visit as it’s almost always quiet and peaceful inside.

Antibes and Juan Les Pins organise a wide range of events during the year. We’ve highlighted some of the best below so you can check a couple out when you’re next in town.

  • Antibes: Pain, Amour & Chocolat Festival ~ February
  • Juan les Pins: Classic à Juan ~ March/April/May
  • Antibes: Antiques Show ~ April
  • Antibes: Côte d’Azur Rally ~ May
  • Antibes: Deantibulations Show ~ June
  • Antibes: Les Nuits Carrées ~ June
  • Antibes: Voiles d’Antibes competition ~ June
  • Juan les Pins: Jazz à Juan Festival ~ July
  • Juan les Pins: Sucre & Chocolat Exhibition ~ November

It couldn’t be easier to get to your Cap d’Antibes rental villa, no matter where you’re coming from in the world.

Port Vauban can accommodate even the largest superyachts and there are two airports within 30 minutes of Antibes if you prefer to fly.
